2/21/22: Trading markets are closed today, in observance of President’s Day and many of propane’s market makers are attending the annual OPIS meeting. This doesn’t mean that world events are taking the day off, however.
2/18/22: Two-week forecast remains colder than normal for most people. The weeks three and four may moderate. Russia-Ukraine tensions remain, but WTI went sub $90 in morning trading.
2/17/22: The forecast for the back half of February goes colder than before.
2/16/22: Propane inventories drew a whopping 5.9M/bbls for the week ending February 11th, 2022. National inventories now stand at 41.9M/bbls, which is 6.7M/bbls lower than where inventories were reported to be this same week one year ago and also lower for this EIA reporting week than any other week in the past eight years.
